TECSOUND CLG 3900 is a versatile and efficient soundproofing solution, specifically designed as a solvent-free, single-component acrylic compound. This innovative material serves as a sound deadening agent, utilizing the mass-spring-mass principle to effectively alter the vibration frequency of assemblies, thereby reducing the transmission of both airborne and impact noises. This product’s noise reduction capabilities have been verified by ASTM E90 and ASTM E492 standards, ensuring its efficacy in providing a quieter environment.

One of the standout features of TECSOUND CLG 3900 is its minimal odour release after curing, making it an ideal choice for indoor applications. It can be used on a variety of surfaces, including gypsum boards, OSB, and plywood, making it highly versatile for different construction and remodelling projects.

For optimal results, surface preparation is crucial. Ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dirt, or debris before application. The compound is applied using a large caulking gun capable of holding 828 ml (28 oz) cartridges. Each 1.2 m x 2.4 m (4 ft. x 8 ft) panel requires two complete cartridges. The product should be dispensed in uniform and random patterns across the panel’s surface, maintaining a 5 cm (2 in.) distance from the edges to prevent overflow during installation. After application, the panel should be immediately attached to the pre-installed surface using appropriate fasteners, adhering to local building codes.
